Being a National Health Corp Scholar, Dr. McKinney’s passion is empowering underserved communities with the medical knowledge and information to become better advocates and managers of their health and well being. Dr. McKinney is also actively engaged in international medicine and public health. She serves as both Adjunct Professor and Faculty Advisor for Touro College of Osteopathic Medicines (Touro-COM) International Medicine club, where she organizes and accompanies medical students to medical missions around the world. In fact, she will be taking a group of 1st and 2nd-year medical students to Ghana, Africa this December 2017.
Dr. McKinney is dually board certified in family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. She is both an Advanced Cardiac and Life Support and Medical Simulation Instructor. As a result of Dr. McKinney’s dedication and commitment to the Harlem community and medical education, she was recently appointed to the Admissions Committee of Touro-COM.
Dr. McKinney is an avid supporter of the arts. A proud resident of Harlem, Robin serves on the Apollo Theatre’s Women’s Committee and the American Museum of Natural History’s Spring Luncheon Committee.
Dr. McKinney is a member of Harlem Healthy Hearts, Harlem Docs and works closely with Project Renewal’s Breast Cancer Scan Van. Dr. McKinney is an Attending Family Medicine physician at CityMD Urgent Care in Manhattan and founder and president of RCM Medical Consulting.
She obtained a B.A. in Psychology and Biology from Douglass College of Rutgers, The State University and a medical degree from Rowan University-SOM (formerly UMDNJ-SOM).
