Elizabeth O. Tinuoye is a clinical research professional. She began her career at Mount Sinai in 2012 with the Anesthesiology Clinical Trials Department. The research focused on various aspects of anesthesia, delirium, POCD and the geriatric population. In 2013, she was recruited by Dr. Fergus to join the Harlem Healthy Hearts team. Elizabeth has facilitated workshops, presented on various topics and seeks out every opportunity to engage the Harlem community. Elizabeth obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College and her M.S. in Human Nutrition from Columbia University. In 2014, she started traveling with the team on medical missions to Montserrat. With this, she cultivated a love for global medicine. She has a genuine passion for medicine, community health, and nutrition. Currently, she is preparing for medical school and hopes to start in the fall of 2018. While in medical school she plans to continue both her community and global activities. Elizabeth resides in Central Harlem with her little sister and their dog Bam-Bam.
